Wow.that is one smart bird. He learned the words, but also the circumstances.
He has to be the life of a party. Yesterday my neighbor was telling me about how she never really liked to eat.more of a picky eater. Her mother was always telling Judy 'Judy please just eat some more.' Well, their parakeet learned that phrase and he would always say 'Judy please just eat some more. So, then I was telling her about my parakeet. I was trying to teach him to say things, but he really never learned that. One day, I was cleaning his cage and he said 'You Rascal, You!'. I almost fell on the floor laughing. When she comes over, my daughter will lift her up next to the cage and Beau will say "Sammi, give me a kiss". I think birds are so smart, Beau may not see Sammi for a month or so but when he does, he calls her by her name. He also spent some time this weekend yelling at Emiliano. First he would yell, "Emiliano come here" and then if he saw Emiliano in the living room (where the cage is), he'd yell "Emiliano get in the den". And of course, because everyone was on the floor laughing, he would do it over and over. Gloria
