LOL, that's short for Elizabeth-collars. Not sure if I am right but I always
thought that they got the name from some old queen Elizabeth in England  who
use to wear very high thick collars on her dresses. I can't imagine that
style being comfortable.

Why do you use the term Ecollar ?  I think of that as an electrical shock

old socks and pin them into an adjustable bagel shape that fits around the
dogs neck. Comfortable, washable and free!!! I did this to keep him away
from his butt when he had inflamed anal sacs.
