[Chihuahuas] vet visit

I made an appointment for the vet tomorrow for my Lolly-Pup. My  problem is 
that, being a Chihuahua, she's terribly afraid of people, which will  make 
it hard for the vet to examine her. She responds to treats, but this takes  
time. Any advice?
