Not necessarily anything from puppy days..I have one who is skittish around everyone, runs if a stranger comes near, and I know how she spent her puppy days. With me and no one has every hurt her. It's just her nature.

My problem is that, being a Chihuahua, she's terribly afraid of people, which will make it hard for the vet to examine her. She responds to treats, but this takes time. Any advice? David Rubin
