actually, you helped me quite a lot.
I have looked at the toy/miniature poodle, but it says they don't do well with
chaos, and with a son with schizophrenia and a daughter with aspbergers, plus
my disabilities, our house is definately not sedate. Plus we live currently
with my brother in law and sister in law and their dogs. They have a boston
terrier/pug/beagle mix, a pug, and a chesapeake bay retriever mix. So, a dog
that needs a sedate living style would not work for us.
I have also looked at the maltese, but from what I have read so far, the
chihuahua seems much smarter. I get to interact with my sister's chihuahuas
when I go down there, and they are very smart, and very loyal.
Thanks so much for the first hand experience.
Do you think that a chihuahua could be taught to retrieve small things?
