Oh, Ann! I hope that he didn’t swallow any more of whatever it is.

Kind of timely with our discussion about the things that our Chis have eaten.

This is something that never happened before------ Chico passed a piece of
string about 4-5 inches long last night. Apparently no problems. I will search
for something that size today.

Happy New Year to all

That is scary.
I remember my brother saying once that he was painting the bedrooms. I guess he
put water in the little pan that has the paint and put it on the patio to soak
a little. They couldn't find their cat for a few days and then when they went
outside he was laying by the pan - he must have drank some of the water and the
latex formed like a balloon in his belly. So sad.

Yes, the scarey thing is that is when you think you have thought of everything,
they still get into things. I was wallpapering a bathroom once and I had cut
wallpaper and pieces everywhere...not even thinking they might be attracted to
the glue on the back of this wallpaper. It was prepasted. A couple of days
later they both started vomiting and having diarrhea. It had formed a mass in
their stomach. But thankfully with the addition of some meds, they both passed
it all in a few days and no surgery was needed. Whew..

I am so scared of things that dogs/cats might get into that I take: cans
(including lids), wrappers, anything that contained food, Poisons and anything
that contained poison, everything that might smell, appear or taste attractive
to my pets, goes outside and directly into my trash bin.

Had never heard of that remedy, glad it worked and that all is well.
