Rebecca, Yes, I know that. I am waiting for the boiled chicken to cool down. Then I pick thru it very carefully and shred the meat looking for bones.

Cooked bones are not good for dogs…but I know that you know that! Take chicken out of bag, drop it on the floor, watch your babies eat......the end! The only caution I would give on cooked meals for your dogs, make sure they are getting the needed amount of calcium. My Chi is getting ground today, ground cow, ground chicken bones, with organs added. You would think all of his christmases and birthdays come at once when I set his bowl down. Oh and he will take down any Dane who comes too close lol and they don't press the issue after that. Funny to watch that! Now I usually use hamburger, but I have a large amount of frozen chicken drumsticks. I was planning to thaw and then boil the chicken until the meat falls off the bones. I can use the broth to flavor my “kids” kibble and then add the meat to my mixed veggies for a kind of chicken stew. I might even try to see if the cat kids would like some. Got any advice? Should I add rice or noodles or not? Judy Moon, a prayer warrior for Christ "May grace and spiritual peace be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ."
