Hi Mark, yes I do know chi's have no fear as I have one that totally does not
know her size. She is one I must watch constantly. It is such a surprise to
find out people eat bear. I never even imagined that. I can imagine wolves
eating bear, that seems normal. I think I will stick to "normal" meat though.
Thanks for the info!

Evelyn

Hello Evelyn:

Yes, people eat bear. I have a friend who bow hunts black bear in Colorado
every year. I would assume Chi's or all dogs would eat bear. I do know a Chi
will go after a bear. Last year in Colorado one owner was waken at night by her
Chi who was barking at a bear the entered her home. You will read all of the
time that there are Chi's with no fear.

Rebecca, this may sound like a stupid question but....bear? Do some people eat
bear? Do dogs? I surely didn't know that.

I buy some stuff ground. As for pork, this has been a huge topic on the raw
list!  Pork in the US is fine. There is no longer trichinosis in farm raised
pigs. Now as for wild boar and bear this is a different story. BUT freezing
gets rid of it. Unless your getting wild game from very cold regions. Then it
can have a cold temp resistant tric. In it. But as I don't get wild game this
isn't a concern of mine lol

But pork heart and tongue are a huge part of my guys diet
