Get to the unemployment office and sign up. Find a vet (if yours is not willing)to accept post dated checks for services if need be. May buy you some time.
I got laid off a couple of years ago. The unemployment benefits got me through until I found another job. To find work check out the website: www.Indeed.com I found to be very helpful and get on automatic email list for job postings. I took advantage of the services the the unemployment office had as well. I also applied to temp job agencies. The more places you have your name in the easier it is to get a job. Sometimes losing a job is a blessing in disguise. At least for me it was. I found a job I liked much better. Stay positive above all. Hope this helps.
