You’re welcome.

My brother has been unemployed for over a year and he had been telling me that
he thinks he is not being hired because he is 57. I saw some jobs on there for
where he lives and told him to keep checking.

Great site. I just checked it out. It even lists a couple of jobs in my town.

Thanks Joan

Hi everyone…happy Saturday!

Last week I got a letter from Retirementjobs.com. This website lists jobs
where employers are looking to hire folks 50 and over. If you are 50 or over,
please go there and there may be jobs that are available but not posted
anywhere else.

Get to the unemployment office and sign up. Find a vet (if yours is not
willing)to accept post dated checks for services if need be. May buy you some
time.

I got laid off a couple of years ago. The unemployment benefits got me through
until I found another job.

To find work check out the website: www.Indeed.com I found to be very helpful
and get on automatic email list for job postings. I took advantage of the
services the the unemployment office had as well. I also applied to temp job
agencies. The more places you have your name in the easier it is to get a job.

Sometimes losing a job is a blessing in disguise. At least for me it was. I
found a job I liked much better. Stay positive above all.

Hope this helps.

Margie
