Both of mine wear collars all of the time. If we are going for a walk, they get their harness on. I am not going to keep harnesses on them all the time. I put their City registaration, and their rabies tag on the collar. You can actually get a tiny thin ones at PetSmart.made for the teeny dogs, and also you may be able to get one small enough at the cat section.
