I had a friend that used Sentry two summers ago on her pug and it literally
burned off the dogs fur and skin in the area that she applied it. The dog
couldn't walk right, always leaning to it side and trying to hug the walls
and furniture to hold itself up. She took him to an emergency Vet and they
washed the dog several times with Dawn detergent and had it on IV overnight.
Being a pug he also had some breathing problems. He survived.

You can't sue these companies anymore because they cover themselves with the
warning label and you use the product at your own risk.
Sentry was on a list that I once saw that had the highest complaints and for
servere side effects.

Did you use the one that is listed as a Natural Flea Defense? That one only
has herbs in it and not an insecticide. The one my friend used two years ago
had an insecticide it it.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Sentry flea application

My dog had no use of his front and back legs after the application. I called
them and they said can have pins and needle sinsation, but not usually just
one side. But to wash him with dish liquid 3 times and try that. He had this
problem from Friday to sunday. Today, Monday he can walk again. Has anyone
else had this problem with this product or other liquid applications?
