Biting at the air and shaking is also signs of having seizures, which a lot
of the flea products say their products can cause.. Gigi has already had
seizures, which is why I am sooo afraid to use anything on her. Every dog is
different, which is why it makes it so much harder to know what brand is
safe. You really don't know until you try it on your own dog. Considering
the fact that they all have insecticides in them, none of them are really
safe in my book, but then, what choice does a dog owner have in combating
fleas and ticks. Your damned if you do, and your damned if you don't.

My vet said it is the permethrin that is the problem. It is an old product
and used as pesticides. Tipper also has neurological symtoms. He is fly
biting which is biting at invisible flies. And even after 4 days and being
washed with Dawn 4 times is still chewing his foot and shaking it. I called
Sargents the maker of Sentry and complained and they said to take to vet and
I asked who would pay for it. They said to submit the receipt and they
review it case per case. Right! They have a natural product also ,but how
can I trust hem? A natural product with peppermint oils and such. I have
tried frontline plus which works but one dog went in circles for an hour
with it. And Comfortus (pill from Eli Lilly) and they all vomited. It has
become a challenge to keep them flea free. Also on another subject, my
friends dog tested heartworm positive and I cannot stress enough to keep all
dogs on heartworm preventative year round. They medicice to cure it is
limited availibility from England. Read about it from Merial the maker.

using the flea treatment that Tractor Supply carries. You can buy 3 tubes
for $9.99 of Advantage 45. I get the 30 lb & under tubes & split it between
my three dogs & they get 6 months of flea treatment from those 3 tubes. It's
the first treatments that says put it on between the shoulder blades & at
the tip of the tail. It works really well! Missy is 23 lbs & Roxy is 5 lbs &
Scooter is close to 2 lbs. They've never had an adverse reaction & they've
been flea & tick free since I started using it.

He had this problem from Friday to sunday. Today, Monday he can walk again.
Has anyone else had this problem with this product or other liquid
applications?
