I am so happy that you have sold the house, the furniture, and some of the tools. That will make it much easier to pack and to get everything in the truck. You don't have much time.only 9 days. I will pray that you are able to get everything packed. I moved about 4 years ago and I thought I was doing good.but it was the kitchen, one of the closets, and what was under the bathroom sink.I could not get that all packed by the time that the moving truck came. So, I thought not a big deal, but the number of boxes that it took to pack that stuff was quite a bit. Those boxes I had to put in my car and I had a friend that packed it to the max so that I could get it all in. Such a miscalculation. I didn't have Dolly & Desi then, and I just cannot imagine how much time that it would have taken me with them around. So, I can't even imagine how you are doing it with all of yours. After meeting with the buyer (found him to be very nice) we decided to speed up the process of getting my home closed. So the closing date is being moved from the 30th of march to the 22nd. (That is barring any problems.) The buyer bought all my furniture and some tools. This makes it cheaper and easier for me to move. Also I have been talking to my realtor in Idaho. The house up there is still available and at a wonderful price ($19,000 cash). I'm about 1/3 packed, but still have the kitchen, bathroom and some stuff in my bedroom to pack.
