Mare, I buy a "Quick and Hearty" mix from Sleek & Sassy. All I have to do
is boil water and add the mix. About 1 hr later it is ready. One jar of
the mix will give Libby a warm meal every day for about 3 months. Libby is
a hen Senegal Parrot. We've lived together for around 20 years I think.

Early this morning I went out behind my house and spaded up an area of about
3' x 5' to plant into flowers which attract butterflies and hummingbirds. I
made a trip down my road and loaded up the rear of my SUV with rocks. Came
back to my place and used some of the rocks to border the area I just
finished spading up. Raked up the yard the dogs use so it was nice and clean
again.

In the afternoon I baked brownies and made a batch of food for my parrot.
Its made of beans of all kinds, corn, rice, etc. Libby loves it.

Between all that I read my Bible, also looked thru the 2012 Old Farmer's
Almanac that I just received. Worked on the computer to answer emails and
worked out an order to Park Seed for some flower seeds.

So it has been a busy day, but I really feel good because I got something
done.
