Carey, First off, growing up we always called the "dog catchers" the bad guys and hoped they wouldn’t catch the poor doggies. Now after volunteering at our county humane society I have learned to respect them for the work they do. It is evident that our animal control officers really care about the animals they bring in. They want what is best for the animals. One of them even caught a dog that got loose when I was walking it(much to my mortification). So thank you for the job you do. That being said, it seems we have more Lab mixes right now than Pit mixes. Are you seeing that too or is it a fluke?
