Yikes, that would do it for me too.  Blood should stay where it belongs and
anywhere else is not a good thing.  These guys sure do push our Mom
buttons..lol.. Glad she is ok..

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Liza went to Vet

After noticing blood in Liza's stool this afternoon I took her to vet.
Vet ran blood tests and fecals on her and found nothing wrong with Liza that
goodness. Vet did complete exam too and said she could have had a little
intestinal bug. Vet also expressed her anal glad. Liza did not appreciate that
one, and told the vet so with a loud screech! That was ok. Liza's stool was dry
and the vet thought that could have caused the blood. Usually Liza's stool is
moist. Tonight she is eating and drinking well, and she acts like her old self
again.

Guess I panicked but she is my only dog now so I got a little worried.
If she experiences this again, I will try the pumpkin and wait a few days to
see if she gets over it.

Thanks all for your help. Liza thanks you too. Great information here!

Margie
