Hi Everyone!

Here is an update on Merit: first, it is his second day home and he has not had
even one accident!! He seems to know he should go potty outside. I am so proud!!

Second, he slept nicely all night in his crate (next to my bed) without
crying!! Third, he walks perfectly on a leash!!

One weird issue, though (advice please!): he seems afraid of his food bowl. He
tries to tip it over with his nose, although obviously I do not let him, and
whenever he takes a piece of kibble from the scary bowl, he acts like he has
done something very, very brave. Anyone else ever deal with something like this?

One last thing-- he is DEFINITELY not a purebred chihuahua. Will you guys still
love him? I think he is probably a chiweenie. You guys are going to think he is
HUGE. He weighs 9 lbs. I have a picture but I can't figure out how to upload...

Have a great day, everyone! I look forward to hearing from you!
Michaela
