Jax does this to my lab all the time too.  She doesn't do it to him which is
probably a good thing.  Her tongue is almost as big as he is.  She is the one
that he has bonded to and they snuggle a lot if he isn't sitting in my lap.  He
also takes all the toys to her bed and I have to clean it out so there is room
for her to lay down.

He has become quite the recliner potato since I had my knee replaced Jan 7th.
Such a great little buddy during my recovery.

Today he caught a tooth on my wedding ring and popped out the diamond. I
panicked because I thought the diamond was in his mouth but I found it on the
carpet.  Didn't do a thing to his tooth and I was hoping it popped it out.  He
is retaining his top canine and his new teeth are starting to come in.  I hope
they will push them loose and I can pull them.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Dog washing question

My dogs seem to be spending a lot of time washing each other - often the eyes
and face, but sometimes legs, backs, sides - and the recipient just sits there.
Are they just pack bonding?  Or is there some kind of meaning here?

Thanks!
