I bathe my dogs when they need it, so usually after salt water swimming,
getting dirty from the currently torrential downpours, or before they go to a
dog show or hospital visit. I like black out shampoo for black dogs and oatmeal
for general purposes. The 4 smaller guys I do in the sink to save my back, the
others in the tub. Use a leash, close the bathroom door and have plenty of
towels at hand. I have sometimes taken the smaller guys into the shower with me
a d holding them against me while they get lathered and rinsed then let them
rub on towels on the floor while I shower me. I have a shower on a hose thingy
so have though about putting a plastic table in there to wash the guys on.
Shirts aren't going to discourage fleas, they leap on people who usually are
clothed.
