Hej Bob,

do they specify as how conductive the case has to be?
There are conductive polymers, used in mostly pink ESD shielding bags
but you would not be able to measure the conductivity (or resistivity)
with a normal multimeter.
Depending on design, cost and feasibility, another alternative might
be the evaporation coating of the inside with ITO (indium tin oxide -
the electrode material used in LCDs) or with a metal film (gold,
mostly or chromium) of up to 100nm, which will also be transparent and
chemically stable.

  Uwe.

BP> Does such a thing as transparent conductive plastic exist?

BP> Now the Paper Pusher that deal in certifications in Europe says that the case must
be conductive.

BP> Conductive paint is the obvious solution. The problem is that any thing that
makes the paint be
BP> conductive makes it not be transparent.

BP> Suggestions?
