I don't know if you found a way out of this one, Bob, but there was
something at a trade show which attenuated radio signals. The exhibition
ran this way: They had an aerial on the stand, which was broadcasting; a
robot dropped a plastic box over it which attenuated the signal strength
considerably. They then removed it and the signal strength shot back up.

The company exhibiting was Demag (www.demag.de?) but they have teamed up
with some other large US company in injection moulding in the states,
and my contact fotgets the name. He didn't stop, because it wasn't what
he was doing so he wasn't interested.
