Personally I've never meet a triac I like, and refuse to use them. Bad experiance from my first job assignment years ago. Boss Man said "figure out why this design of mine DLFJK:J up some times". Then you have to tell the Boss Man the first day on the job it is because he didn't know what he was doing... Anyway use inverse parallel SCR's. You end up with the same triac function but with orders of magnitude dV/dT immunity improvement. -- http://www.softwaresafety.net/ http://www.unusualresearch.com/ http://www.bpaddock.com/ -- Author: Bob Paddock INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Hosting, San Diego, California -- http://www.fatcity.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB CHIPDIR-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
