The issue is the width. These are all SMT packages. Width measurements are to the ends of the legs. The difference appears to be that the Toshiba pack has a wider body.
The Toshiba Pack is 10mm long, x ~8mm wide. (Getting one measured is murder!). Width measurements are to the ends of the legs. The packs I can buy are 10mm long, x 6mm wide I only need 74hc00, 74hc4049 74HC4050.
