Many companies do make their IC's in several different packages. Different widths, pin distances etc.The issue is the width. These are all SMT packages. Width measurements are to the ends of the legs. The difference appears to be that the Toshiba pack has a wider body. It is important to check the postfixes of the partnumbers in the datasheets, because that specifies the package (and temp. range). Then you know the dimensions and you can find equivalents from other manufacturers in the same case. Remember: the postfixes are not standardized, so check it in the actual datasheet if it is ok before you buy. With a simple "schuifmaat" (mess-schieber, my english is not that good..) it should be possible to measure the dimensions. The Toshiba Pack is 10mm long, x ~8mm wide. (Getting one measured is murder!). Width measurements are to the ends of the legs. If you know the postfixes of those parts, you can look them up, e.g.:The packs I can buy are 10mm long, x 6mm wideI only need 74hc00, 74hc4049 74HC4050. http://www.toshiba.com/taec/components/Datasheet/TC74HC00DS.pdf <snipsnip> Regards, Tinco Brouwer Afdeling Elektronica Faculteit Biologie FALW Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam |
