You say 'Mac Monitor' like it is supposed it is supposed to mean
something. It doesn't! What is need is the manufacturer and model. What
you hope for is a multisync model. NEC made their bones on being
multisync so if you have one the cable Uwe suggests will probably work.
The original MAC OEM models were not multisync. This was not the case
for after market manufactures that primarily used universal designs. To
answer your questions look on the rear monitor chassis. If you see other
connectors there, particularly 3 or 4 BNC connectors, you probably have
a multisync. Find a cable that matches the connectors and it will
probably work. Don't try to adapt the 15D.

He has busy in spiritual persuits all summer. The Annual junk collection
happens near his grandmother's and he walked in with a 17" Mac Monitor,
and a P4/266MB/80Gig/windowsXP Dell which a neighbour threw out :-o.
The pc isn't perfect - it won't power up, but here, that won't last.

Mac monitors have a 15-way "D" - the standard type. Short of this,
are they a directly compatible with PC monitors?
