Comment #6 by andrewdeville: checked Value and it is 1, I changed it to 0 and saved and noticed the UAC alert pop- up, as that changed turned it off. I changed it to 1 and saved and that turned the UAC back on. I then installed Google Chrome Channel Chooser again and restarted Chrome, update worked!!!
