Issue 3263: SSL error: MIT CA doesn't seem to work in Chrome
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3263

Comment #1 by [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
This is a duplicate of Issue 166.

The website requests but doesn't require SSL client authentication.
Chromium supports such websites on Windows XP SP3 and Vista only.

If you are on Windows XP SP2 or older, you will get an error page
with the original error message
"Error 110 (net::ERR_SSL_CLIENT_AUTH_CERT_NEEDED): Unknown error."

I have just created a changelist that supports such websites in the
new HTTP stack on all versions of Windows.

Full support for SSL client authentication will be implemented later.
