Issue 3269: Chrome crashes frequently when double-clicking downloaded file http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3269
Comment #39 by qwer1304: Finnur, The plot thickens: 1.I have nvshell.dll disabled 2.With gflags set on chrome.exe I do the following: a.Go to http://www.daimi.au.dk/~ivan/CPT.html b.Do a Save link as... on the first link http://www.daimi.au.dk/~ivan/ComZK08.pdf c.In the dialog box that opens navigate to a subdirectory C:\temp d.Right-Click in the dialog, but don't do anything! e.Click Save and let the download complete (don't do anything else). f.Do a Save link as... on the second link http://www.daimi.au.dk/~ivan/CPT1.pdf 3.Result - Chrome crashes without a dump file!!! Same sequence of actions with Firefox (with gflags on Firefox) don't result in any crash. (Note: Previously, with nvshell.dll running, that sequence crashed Firefox too). I suggest to re-open the bug report and continue debugging. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
