Comment #29 on issue 1833 by michael.monreal: Downloads do not fully complete http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1833
I'm not using a proxy or anything like that. I'm using a virtual machine and for a short time thought this was the problem but I tried downloading from the host system and see the exact same problem when downloading from http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/ (using Firefox 3.0.1 or wget in that case). The download always stops around 4.1MB, if I start it again it stops at ~10MB and after that it actually finishs. I now tried downloading to one of my university's server using wget. It worked fine. So, the client side is involved somehow, but it's really strange as I have not seen a similar problem with any other download from here. >> On a related topic, why would you do these downloads instead of >> letting us update you automatically? I have a Chrome dev build installed which recently updated to 2.0.162.0 so this seems to work fine, too. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
