*sigh* I'll pursue it then.
We just got a complaint on our discussion group that this also affects
people downloading the source
code tarball, which - if not working - will cause people to skip
bootstrapping with the tarball and
download the full source tree using gclient, causing additional load on our
svn server.
This is basically a server/network problem, and not a problem in Chrome. In
fact, when this happens
it happens on all browsers I tested. Yes, it doesn't happen all the time,
but when it happens it
happens consistently and is incredibly frustrating.
I have filed a ticket to see if we can get the chromium.org download
problem fixed.
