New issue 8162 by [email protected]: Copy & Paste of URL should be in URLencoded http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=8162 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%BF%E3%83%AB%E3%83%BB%E3%82%A6%E3%82%A3%E3%83%AB%E3%82%B1%E3%83%B3%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%83%AB%E3%83%89 - URL shown in address bar should be "http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/タル・ ウィルケンフェルド". As you can see Japanese is embedded in the URL path 2. Copy this URL on Chrome 3. Paste it somewhere such as Gmail composition area on other tab or Blogger edit mode What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The URL pasted should be URLencoded. For example written above, it should be http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%BF%E3%83%AB%E3%83%BB%E3%82%A6%E3%82%A3%E3%83%AB%E3%82%B1%E3%83%B3%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%83%AB%E3%83%89 not http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/タル・ウィルケンフェルド "RFC 1738 - 2.2.
