Comment #36 on issue 3041 by esdras.beleza: DNS pre-fetching causes frequent internet loss http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=3041
Ok. :) I'm using Chromium, release 4.0.222.4 (28662) on Linux 2.6.30.6, as said above. My Linux distribution is Arch Linux. My ISP name is Velox, it's an ADSL connection. My modem is a Siemens Speedstream 4200. My computer is connected to the modem using a wireless connection, my wireless router is a Linksis WRT54G. I tried to reproduce the problem again. The modem is being restarted when Chromium is opening so many files, like a page full of images. The problem persists even after disabling DNS prefetching, but it occurs more rarely than before. Is there any other detail that could help? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
