esdras: Thanks for the info! The fact that it "persists even after disabling DNS prefetching" shows that one of your components is vulnerable to multiple resolutions in a short period. Perhaps as we get other items will stick as as common points. The speedstream 4200 was one notable common point. Just to check, are you running custom firmware on the wrt54G, such as dd-wrt, or tomato? ...or are you running the factory firmware?
