Comment #9 on issue 24883 by lubos.motl: With the new Acrobat Reader 9.2, no PDF appears in old Chrome windows http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=24883
Resizing works for me, too. Instead of finding the exact boundary of the window, a more convenient method to resize - and to force the PDF file to appear - is to double-click the upper "chrome" bar (transparent in Vista) which makes the toggle on/off for the full screen mode. Already after the first double-click anywhere at the top, you may see the PDF. But you may double-click for the second time to return to the original mode. (Of course, F11 instead of the double-click works, too.) This problem should therefore be easy to fix in Chrome. If the Chromium programmers are too slow, someone outside the team could also create a Chrome extension that would apply the resizing steps artificially whenever it sees a new PDF anywhere. ;-) -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
