@jam: Sadly, no difference. (And I did double-check that I'd successfully  
disabled
plugins by going to youtube.) Are you and gwilson unable to repro this  
behavior on a
test Windows XP system? It's so reliable for me and some others posting  
here, that
would seem surprising. What's the spec of the system(s) you're trying?

FWIW: I _don't_ get (or not enough that I've noticed) the behavior that  
bliss and
some others are reporting. (I don't use hotmail, but surely it would show  
up other
places.) I suspect two different underlying issues (although probably best  
to keep
them together here, people would have trouble figuring out where to post  
their
findings if we tried to split them up).

I just thought to try this with Safari [for Windows, 4.0.3 (531.9.1)], in  
case it's a
webkit thing. Didn't have the problem.
