Fantastic idea. I love the notion of using XMPP for this. Now I just hope that this doesn't go the way of Google Browser Sync. That was an insanely useful service that got taken out back and shot, causing me to relocate my sync'd bookmarks, etc. to Foxmarks, now Xmarks.
