What about using [ctrl]+[f] to go forward into search? (and [ctrl]+
[alt]+[f] to go backwards, maybe?) Now the "next result" is accessible
by pressing [enter].
Not absolutely in favour of the "toggle" option, because it is likely
to be confusing and to cause accidental (unwanted) toggling.
