That is also an interesting solution, and provides a whole new level of tab
organization. I don't see why this can't be implemented along side Craiv's
idea...

What about a "cover flow"-like solution?

I would like to pose the following question though, is this the sort of
issue that the average user will experience and so should be solved by a
built-in browser feature? Or is this the sort of issue only a minority of
users experience and so should be solved by an extension (once extensions
are supported)?
