you are luckier (or probably more clever / experienced) programmer
then me (maybe it is because i am not english), i have not understand
that "how to" much - i miss downloading the sample how to (the file is
gone), and i have not found how to make .crx out of the files (i
thought it is renamed zip, but it seems it is not). I also wandered
how to define it for e.g. specified list of webs. I would love more
examples. E.g. some very simple crx which will add some javascript and
css to a defined web (probably the most common example of what such
plugins do). Or if there is a way to how put some other icon on a
toolbar (beside the address bar) - the second most important feature.
P.S.: Andrew is not first, there are few more extensions allready -
e.g. adblock. Try to serch "google chrome .crx" But i wasn't able to
quickly undrestand them (they are quite huge for my simple needs)
