I've been looking a bit at the extension system, too. I was thinking
of building a user-agent changer, but there doesn't seem to be an API
to do that (yet?)

On http://dev.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/extensions/apiwishlist
there are "Network" and "Navigation Interception" sections, and I the
API would probably fit under one of those.

Is it reasonable to assume the stuff on that list will be implemented
at some stage? I'm assuming there isn't much point raising a bug
saying "I'm impatient"?
