Flash is working quite good, now I can even play games on Facebook, even if
after a very short period of time, I'm forced to kill chromium-browser as it
takes too much memory and cpu for itself..

Did you try opening chromium-browser using a shell and then looking at the
output for something wrong? Sometimes it helps..
