Just got around to testing. Seems to work fine here with both plugins.
It appears to be using Flash 9 on mine, and the plugin seems to be
crashing a lot. Could you try going to YouTube again and open Chromium's
Task Manager (Shift+Esc) and see if maybe the plugin that was supposed
to play the video had crashed?

Apart from that, I'm not sure what could be happening...
