I have to disagree. I also would really like this feature, and if you
Google it, you will see that quite a few people have requested this,
especially in the non developer chrome boards.

It is annoying to me as well that I cannot clear individual downloaded
items, and frankly, there is no reason Chrome SHOULDNT have that.

I mean, why is it not useful? For example, the site Stereogum offers
tons of free mp3 downloads (legally). As a fan of the site, if I
download multiple files, I want to be able to clear completed ones
while others are still downloading.

I vote for this feature too
