Hi Anthony,

While I'm afraid I don't have anything specific, I have read (and thoroughly
enjoyed) Orwell's collected essays.  As I recall, he supported Churchill for
two main reasons: for fighting Hitler and standing up to totalitarianism;
and, for demonstrating that a central, all-party government can accomplish
great things (Orwell hoped for a similar form of government to continue
post-war).
