Anthony Calabrese,

Attached is a review George Orwell wrote of Their Finest Hour, first published
in 1949. I have scanned it from volume IV of Orwell's Collected Essays. There
are numerous references to Churchill in all four volumes. The book review is
the last piece of writing Orwell completed; he died on 21 January 1950.

Three years later Moran found WSC reading 1984 (the book with his namesake
hero). "Have you read it Charles? Oh, you must. I'm reading it for a second
time. It is a very remarkable book."

A rare compliment for a Harrovian to give to an Etonian.
