Todd Ronnei, The 1903 letter from Mount Street looks as if it was written by someone else, then signed by WSC.
The handwriting is suspiciously neat, and appears to be in a different hand to the signature. While I am no graphologist, the give-away seems to be the letter 'e' (lower case). As you can see from the despatch from the Sudan, 2 September 1898, WSC wrote the letter 'e' in the normal way, whereas the unusual Greek-style 'e' is used throughout the Mount Street letter.
