Coming back at this: Is there any chance of determining / changing this? For what I see, the AD domain controller is configured to do NTLMv2 auth, and the system providing the CIFS share (an IBM/NetApp filer) just a part of the same domain... Will CIFS client do this, or should I rather have a look at Samba? Using the latter on a Linux machine works pretty straightforward it seems...
