Hmmm, this is strange: We use an AD with a PDC and a NetApp filer only exporting one large CIFS drive (and no other protocols licensed/available). I can use smbutil to view / access shares on any machine locally without any trouble simply using (what I assume to be) NTLMv2 login, i.o.w. without a kinit done before. However, trying to access the NetApp even with "smbutil view" reproducibly ends up in this error without kinit: smbutil: //n3300a: login failed: syserr = remote call failed ... and now I am unsure where the problem might be rooted. NetApp authentication woes? smbutil issues? Any way of getting more information about that? smbutil seems not to be really verbose regarding error messages... :/ TIA, Kristian _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
