Mayad,
If you are really interested to get a proper answer, I'm afraid
this is not the right forum for this question.
Upgrading to a recent development build is what we recommend to
all users in this forum when there is a fix.

I'm new to Opensolaris, having switched over my home NAS from FreeBSD to
Opensolaris about 6 months ago because of ZFS and the stability of
Opensolaris. As such, I'm not familiar with how Opensolaris development
works, but find it incredible that a fix for such a bug is not released
as a patch to the current stable release (2009.06), but instead users are
asked to upgrade to a development release.
I believe that customers with support contracts can get patches to the
current stable release. Patches are pretty expensive for us - typically
several times as expensive as the fix to the development release, I
suspect. Users without support contracts are limited to the stable
releases and the bleeding edge.
Or at least that's my understanding from inside Development. I don't
have a lot to do with the Support and Sustaining end, where patches come
from.
